Get Paid to Care for a Family Member

Care for someone you love—with guidance along the way.

An eligible participant in certain Michigan Medicaid programs may be able to choose a qualified family member as a paid caregiver. Senior Independence Home Care can explain our employment requirements and help you understand the referral process.

Already approved through The Senior Alliance (TSA) MI Choice program? Ask your supports coordinator about requesting our agency. For authorized home care through Molina or Wellcare by Meridian, speak with your assigned care manager.

Approval depends on the specific program, permitted family relationship, caregiver qualifications, authorized services and hours, and staffing arrangements. Payment or employment is not guaranteed by completing an inquiry. Call 248-716-4818 or use the form below to ask about next steps.
